This is a non asbestos packing, braided from a combination of pure aramid fibre and PTFE fibre. This blend provides a combination of good abrasive strength, thermal conductivity and good wear resistance.
Service conditions:
This packing is recommended in slurry pumps for high pressure applications against acids, chemicals, detergents, oils and solvents.
